Made of fine live shorn kurk lamb wool and natural mineral / vegetable dyes with amazing hue variation unmatched by modern techniques. Blue field from indigo plant, dozens of accents including lighter blues light and dark greens earth tones and many more. Double knotted upon two foundation layers (150 knots per square inch per layer, effective 300). Natural dyes from indigo lilac hyacinth pomegranate weld larkspur and others. 99% in superb condition with only some very small antique wear or repair over the century but beautiful and timeless quality with another century to go.
