A magnificent, finely woven (photo # 6) and rare vintage (1940) hand-knotted SAROUK rug. Size: 1.6 square meters (105 cm x 155 cm). Texture: Wool on cotton foundation in original condition, very clean and ready to use.

A typical old sarouk design in well-oxidized blue and red background, made of hand-spun wool dyed using plant-based dyes. This is a real bargain, and I would be surprised if you could find a duplicate of this rug on market. This rug and other ones on my e-bay site are from my own collection and on sale to a fraction of its market price frankly due to downsizing.
