7' x 11' ft A+ mint condition clean hand knotted authentic antique rug (early 1900s estimate). Very fortunate field tone I best describe as persimmon / rust / red spectrum.

This piece has been professionally cleaned with no stains, tears, holes, animal or smoke. High quality wool that can give many shades depending on angles of light and the pile, lighter or darker. This piece is made of sheep wool and natural vegetable dyes by skilled crafts people with around 200 knots per square inch per foundation layer, very fine with double tied knots. Accents in dark to light blue from indigo grape lilac hyacinth.

Natural dyes oxidize over the century giving light and dark shades of each color called'abrash' by curators, giving lots of tone nuance. Top condition possible for an antique.
