9'4" x 12'4" genuine antique pictorial rug (late 1800s to early 1900s estimate). Hand knotted from sheep kurk lamb wool and natural dyes by skilled weavers.

No stains, animal, smoke, tears or holes. Millions of individually hand tied knots in this rug upon two foundation layers, double knotted for a 200 year usable life span; about 300 effective knots per square inch over two foundation layers. Tree of Life, positive prosperity and mythology concepts. Natural dyes sources include indigo, lilac, pomegranate, beet, larkspur, weld, bark, nut shell, saffron, and more! There is some antique wear, low pile or foundation over the century but very good for the age all things considered.
