7'10" x 11'2" clean, genuine, blue antique wool rug (early 1900s estimate). Hand knotted from fine lamb kurk sheep wool and natural dyes by skilled weavers. Double knotted on two foundation layers for another century of durability.

No stains, holes, tears, animal or smoke. Old world laborious vegetable dye techniques still unmatched. A beautiful deep blue field accented with antiqued teal turquoise light blue gold and more.

About 200 hand tied knots per square inch upon two foundation layers (effectively 400 knots per inch). Several million knots in this rug. There is some small antique wear or low pile over the century as seen in closeups. Colors derived from natural indigo lilac hyacinth larkspur weld green leaf and more.
