6'5" x 9'3" ft Superb, excellent A+ mint condition authentic hand knotted vintage rug (mid 1900s estimate). Made of fine purpose bred lamb sheep wool and vegetable dyes with amazing hue variation unmatched by modern techniques. Real white silk as highlights. A beautiful shade of ivory.

Professionally cleaned with no stains, animal, smoke tears, or holes. Double knotted upon two foundation layers for another century of durability and beauty. About 150 knots per square inch per foundation layer for about 300 effective kpsi or around 3 Million hand tied knots in this piece. Dyes from indigo, hyacinth, iris, weld, larkspur, saffron and more.
