5' x 9' ft clean hand knotted authentic antique rug runner (very early 1900s estimate). The rug has been professionally cleaned with no stains, tears, holes, animal or smoke. This piece is made of sheep wool and natural vegetable dyes by skilled crafts people of the Baktiari tribe. Field is earthy muted neutral tones with indigo blue purple accents. Natural dyes oxidize over the century giving light and dark shades of each color called'abrash' by curators, giving lots of tone nuance.
