5'4" x 6'1" excellent A+ mint condition vintage rug. Clean, hand knotted from wool and vegetable dyes (mid 1900s caucas / caucasian regions). No stains, tears, holes, animal or smoke. Very colorful, vibrant, happy item. Natural dyes oxidize over the century giving numerous shades of each color lighter and darker as seen in images (called'abrash' by curators and collectors). Old world dye techniques still unmatched! Vibrant natural dyes from pomegranate, madder root, indigo, larkspur and black in the center from natural black wool.
