5' x 9'6 vintage and clean hand knotted authentic antique rug (early 1900s estimate, caucas/caucasian regions) made of wool and vegetable dyes. No stains, tears, holes, animal or smoke. Natural dyes oxidize over the century giving numerous shades of each main color, lighter and darker shades (called'abrash' by curators and collectors). Red from pomegranate, beet and madder root. Many great accents including light and dark blue, green, pink, and earth tones. A real antique of a bygone area with sustained beauty, durability and timeless effect.
