3'5" x 12'7" genuine hand knotted vintage runner rug (early 1900s estimate). Natural vegetable & mineral dyes. No tears, holes, animal nor smoke issue. Natural, beautiful color variations from organic dye oxidation over the century as seen in images (called'abrash' by curators and collectors).

Old world dye techniques still unmatched. Field tone in the red-rust spectrum with accents in the earth tones and blue including indigo. Great authentic period piece with valid historic feel.

This item is in almost mint condition except for a section that has some bleed of what looks like blue dyes on the edge of the border seen in image 12. I know it can be removed if necessary at a oriental rug repair shop as I have seen it before. I dont have this specific experience or resources to do it myself. See all 12 images and closeups.
