9'9" x 12'9" clean condition genuine red-purple vintage rug (early 1900s estimate). Hand knotted from fine wool and natural dyes by skilled weavers. Professionally cleaned before placed in storage. No stains, holes, tears, animal or smoke. Beautiful tonal color variations, lighter and darker, from organic dye oxidation of the century called'abrash' by curators and collectors.

There is some small antique wear, low pile, over the century. Old world laborious vegetable dye techniques still unmatched. Red field with sub tone of plum purple, dark navy indigo blue border, accents of saffron, gold, coral, magenta, pink, cream, teal, earth tones, all natural derived.
