10'7" x 13'4" authentic vintage area rug (early to mid 1900s estimate). This rug is completely hand knotted from fine top grade silky wool and natural dyes a century ago.

Around 600 hand tied knots per square inch upon two foundation layers (about 300 kpsi per layer, one of which is interior) or almost 12 MILLION individually hand tied knots in this rug. Each knot is also tied twice for durability. No holes, tears, stains, animal or smoke. Professionally cleaned before placed in storage. Amazing hues and color variation is made possible by organic dye oxidation over the century called'abrash' by collectors.
