I have it rolled up and well boxed right now and the box is roughly 37" x 24" x 24 and weighs 164 lbs. Rug is beautiful and in good condition.
It does have binding edge wear and fringe wear with the one side of the fringes being worse than the other with them quite a few being shortened some. Pile is even and full and the rug is thick. The Karastan tag says it is 11 feet five inches x 18 feet and that is exactly what it is not counting the fringes.
No holes or stains to the pile that I can see. Looks to be a little fading on the one end but that's hard to tell as the rug needs a vacuuming and shampoo.
No odors I could smell. I believe it is from the 1960's to 1970's as I think that is the era that those type labels were used. If one of you Karastan experts knows better please let me know. He possibly might go a little further but the price jumps as it will blow a whole day of travel time.
